1/06-Present: TRANSDERMAL CAP, INC.  Invented a medical device and developing a business plan for transdermal drug delivery in some niche markets.  Have assembled internationally-recognized MD experts, key PhD’s in biomedical and mechanical engineering, dermatology sales/marketing veterans, Silicon Valley-based prototype and manufacturing firms, and Silicon Valley-based legal team for patent and corporate legal.  See www.neoangels.net/tci/ [NDA required since some provisional patents have not been filed].

5/03-Present: PREPAID CONTENT, INC.  Invented an internet technology (published patent# 20060031899 ) and assembled an executive team that created and is executing a business plan to make money by enabling online internet consumers to anonymously access subscription sites without subscribing and pay by time or by download.  Currently acting as board chairman and have relocated the company from Cleveland, Ohio to Silicon Valley, CA in preparation for a new Silicon Valley-based executive team and series ‘A’ funding. 1/02-1/03:  EKGVISION, INC.  Created a company to commercialize a medical technology from the former Soviet Union that would enable a standard 6-lead EKG to be used as a medicare-approved screening tool for life-threatening cardiac abnormalities (i.e., raise EKG sensitivity from 30% to >80%).  Initial target market was all adults over age 40.  Assembled international experts in cardiology, presented deal to Sand Hill Road VC in Silicon Valley, and had clinical trials set up at Stanford University.  Stopped the deal after my own pre-clinical trial results in Cleveland, Ohio failed to consistently reproduce original results from Moscow.

7/00-Present: INTERNATIONAL ANGELINVESTOR INSTITUTE-OHIO  Established a Cleveland Ohio-based chapter of a Silicon Valley-based non-profit to network and mentor accredited investors on angel investing in high-technology start-ups.  See www.neoangels.net .

7/98-Present: ADVANCED HEALTHCARE TECHNOLOGIES, INC.  Formed an Ohio S corporation to develop medical technologies (e.g., patent# 6,603,464) and provide medical management services (e.g., oversee automated billing files creation for pathology group in 7 facilities, generating over $30million in charges/annum). Also see PathDx an administrative and clinical pathology internet-based ASP I co-founded in 1999 with a pathologist in Sacramento, CA.

7/89-6/98:  BAYLESS-PATHMARK, INC., CLEVELAND, OHIO; Chief Administrative Officer. Grew a hospital-based pathology group from 2 pathologists at a single facility to one of the largest private practice groups of its kind in the country, with 25 pathologists covering 11 facilities across northeast Ohio.  Frequent speaker at national pathology meetings  on the topic of pathology roll-ups and recognized expert in pathology practice management  (e.g., see ‘Dark Report’ interview).  Negotiated a mid-eight figure deal for its sale to a public company but left the group when practice members voted to stay private.  Still retained as an independent contractor.
