T. Ness - Yan
is a veteran entrepreneur who has co-founded two technology companies
in Michigan and led both to successful liquidity events through
mergers. In addition, he brings extensive experience as an
angel investor, outside board member and advisor to startups
Jim
Price - Jim
is Managing Director and co-founder of CompanyCrafters LLC,
an Ann Arbor-based venture catalyst firm providing strategic
counsel to startups and early-stage investors. Jim is a serial
entrepreneur with over two decades of broad-ranging business
management, technology startup and angel investing experience.
Tom Vaughn
- Tom
is a Member of Dykema Gossett PLLC, in the Corporate
Finance, Emerging Business and Technology Program. Mr.
Vaughn's practice focuses primarily on general corporate and
securities matters, with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions,
public securities offerings, public company securities compliance and
private placements of securities involving institutional, venture
capital and private investors.
Our
Keynote speaker
for the dinner portion of our March 20th Program is: Thomas
L. Churchwell.
Tom is
Managing Partner of ARCH Development Partners, L.L.C.,
an early-stage venture partnership which specializes in the creation and
funding of high tech companies in the Midwest. Prior to that,
Tom was President and CEO of ARCH Development Corporation, a subsidiary
of the University of Chicago, which commercialized technology
from the University
and Argonne National Laboratory. Tom has been helping
commercialize technology for over 15 years. Mr.
Churchwell is a director of a number of start-up companies and charities
in the Chicago area.
This

invitation only event.
This is not open to the public. Angels
are "safe" to come to this and not be solicited, but to
network and gain knowledge from the programs. If you know of an
