Dear
Great Lakes Angel Members and Friends,
We
had a very successful May
event with Ian Bund, from White Pines Ventures, leading an attendance of 40
people (and well over 1/2 as angels or "screeners") in a
review of the "Band of Angels" as done by Harvard Business School
- to use as a model option for us. We also had two very fine young
companies make presentations (Xoran, and Afion) on their businesses.
Thank you for your support on this event.
In
this next event we will be
reviewing TWO (2) NEW "deals"
for investment opportunities. We
also have an outstanding technical panel for
our discussion on "Portfolio Guidelines &
Tax Considerations" (see below). You will not want
to miss this.
